South African born, Angus came to the south of France in 2005 to join the yachting industry.

After a couple of years on large sailing vessels he stepped ashore to finish his international business degree and joined our team in 2009.

His optimistic personality, good work ethic and true dedication to service make him an invaluable driving force of the RYS team.

In another life, Angus would probably have been an adventurous heavy metal dude, leading a wild life, but as a loving father and business focused young man, this will have to wait for a few years!

Ulf Sydbeck

Ulf came to the south of France in 1988. During his 12 years at sea he felt there was a big gap when it came to high quality shore support and service, hence the idea of RYS.

The yachting years gave Ulf an extensive contact network which today makes it possible to supply and organize anything a demanding charter client or owner might wish for. He has a strong focus on attention to detail and considers top quality service to be the corner stone of the company.

When not at work Ulf likes to start new companies, heli-skiing, go to the opera, spend time with the family and go sky diving!

Campbell Cormack

After graduating university in Scotland, Campbell moved to France to enter the yachting industry. He spent several years at sea on large motor yachts before he felt that a shore based position was more suitable for him, joining Riviera Yacht Support in 2001 to head up the sales division.

Campbell's enthusiasm and competence has had a great impact on our wine supply division where he is involved with the sales and the teaching of the WSET® wine courses. He achieved the WSET® Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits in 2017.

Apart from being one of the main pillar in our organisation, he is a skilled skier, a wine lover and really handsome in his kilt!

Emmanuelle has been running our Saint Tropez office since 2014, and previously worked at the Capitainerie of Saint Tropez for over a decade.

Her exceptional energy and talent is a valuable resource for all yachts needing help with anything Saint Tropez-related including berthing, all concierge matters such as VIP beach, restaurant and night club arrangements, limo and heli services, wine and provisioning, flowers, laundry and more.

After the manic Saint-Tropez summer, Emmanuelle finally has some down time during the winter months, when spending quality time with her family, skiing, and catching up on good books is the order of the day.

Born and raised in Scotland, Maureen spent a decade working on yachts before finally basing herself in France.  She has been involved in crew placement, yacht charter brokerage and yacht agency work and her combined yachting knowledge with a sound understanding of today’s yacht industry means she is well placed to head up the Riviera Crew Recruitment Agency in Antibes.

If not ending up in yachting Maureen would have made a fortune baking cakes, the best ones around! She is a loving mother of two fabulous children and has made our wine a ´clock on Fridays start 4h30!

Louise Sydbeck MW

Louise has more than 15 years of experience in the wine industry. After a sommelier program in Sweden she left for France to explore her passion for wine further. This took her to a wine university in the Rhone, a vineyard in Provence and finally to head up Riviera Wine.

In 2014 she became the 100th woman in the world to be awarded the prestigious Master of Wine qualification and is known in the industry for sharing her passion for wine and creating top wine selections onboard.

Outside working hours she will enjoy a stunning glass of wine, do yoga, read and loves the peace and quiet of family life at home.

RICKY MARTINS

Ricky grew up in Durban, South Africa. He played professional football for the “Tongaat Crusaders” before venturing over to the UK in 1994.

Over the years Ricky has been a successful bar manager, football coach, race-horse owner, was an extra in “The thin red-line” and thoroughly indulged his travel obsession; making friends worldwide.

Ricky entered the yachting industry in 2012 as a buyer for a large yachting company and finally joined the Riviera Group in 2016 where he elevates the office humour and provides much needed biltong to the team.

Prior to joining us in 2012, Adrian had his own company installing electrical systems in cars, however the call of the French Riviera and the opportunities in the yachting industry have seen him establish himself here full-time.

Adrian's boundless energy and devotion to providing a quality and on-time service render him invaluable to the team. Although he works most of all of us he still manages to find some time for himself.

Adrian enjoys going to the gym, spending time with his lovely fiancé and visiting new cities and was lately very impressed by Dubai.

Glen is the newest member of our RYS team, joining us in 2017 from a solid provisioning background. A dedicated team member, he thrives on the challenge of sourcing hard-to-find items, and prides himself on his timely delivery of orders.

Prior to his career in the yachting industry, Glen worked in the French and Austrian Alps after leaving his sales job in Scotland for more exotic climes, and will happily accept any invitation to snowboard.

THALIA Berard

Originally from Antibes, Thalia studied tourism and then left France to broaden her life and work experience. She lived in Fort Lauderdale, and the idyllic Caribbean island of Sint Maarten and after an awe-inspiring trip backpacking around South East Asia and living in Australia for a year she heard La France calling her back home again.

Thalia returned to Antibes in 2012, and has since worked exclusively in the yachting industry where she has gained incredible experience, contacts and understanding of how the industry works.

Thalia still has the travel bug, and tries to fit in new and exciting destinations between working and spending time with her young family.

FRÉDÉRIQUE MARTIN

Frédérique's background includes running a very successful hotel and restaurant in the French Alps for over 10 years, before she joined the yachting industry in Antibes in 2002.

She started working for Agence Combet, dealing with French administration regarding yachts and in 2006 she joined Riviera Yacht Support where her vast experience in the service industry, expertise in French administration and organisation skills are essential to the smooth running of the companies.

When she is not rescuing her english speaking colleagues from French bureaucracy she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to new and exciting destinations.

Valerie is born in Bretagne but moved south 18 years ago. After several years of working with accounts and administration for a hotel chain she joined the RYS team in the spring of 2011 where she continues with similar tasks.

She is extremely thorough, efficient and positive which makes her a very important member of our team.

When she is not spending her time in the office she loves taking her daughter Lo-Ann to the theatre to decorate her new home.

After graduating in History, Laurent has been working over 8 years in yachting as a recruiter, specializing in interior department. In 2014 he studied wine making in the Rhone valley to take his passion in wine a step further and met Louise at a tasting she organised. A quick meeting over lunch resulted in Laurent coming to work with Riviera Wine in 2016, something for which we are very happy. Off work he spends most of his time reading about psychology, rowing and enjoying beautiful wines.

MARIA NESTEROVA

Maria was born in Uzbekistan and after living several years in Belgium and Portugal, she moved to France at the age of 16. She qualified with a Master Degree in Corporate Strategy and after working in event management and communication agencies, she joined Riviera Wine fascinated by new challenges and discovering the wine industry.

Determined, creative and organised, Maria contributes to marketing and communication activities of our Group and assists Richard, our Wine Buyer, with daily logistics and storage management.

On her free time she loves cooking, playing theatre, travelling and she is an excellent photographer.
